Bram is Kait's boyfriend int he book. He's a very independent person, but when it comes to the subject of his father, he tears up a bit, even though they weren't too close. Bram does come to forgive Kait, because he changes through-out the story. He knows that she is a Malone and he knows very well that Crutchfields "should" hate the Malones, but he also knows that love is more important than a last name and a long history of deluded, hateful people.
